Tim is passionate about working at the intersection of Product Design, Social Good, and Economies of Scale.

Product Design: Tim has been working on building products since 2019. Inspired by his experience with 2 product management internships while at Stanford, he has worked on building the following since entering the workforce:

  • 1 wholesale electricity trading platform

  • 4 national social protection systems

  • 2 AI-assisted job training platforms

  • 1 remote sensing solution for biodiversity conservation

  • 1 early warning system

  • 1 digital intelligence platform

Social Good: Tim has been working on social good efforts since 2011 when he and four childhood friends started a non-profit organization which sought to fundraise and serve both his hometown of Bellingham, WA and partner NGOs in Central America. From 2011-2015, Brothers Against Poverty created the Youth United Build Program with Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County, and worked on education fundraising efforts throughout Central America. From 2016-2019, Tim helped lead Asha For Education at Stanford University. From 2019 onwards, Tim has worked to build products and manage programs that have provided a sustainable financial future for thousands of people.

Economies of Scale: Tim’s PhD has been centered around understanding how to scale. After seeing a 1,500%+ increase in renewables investment in Armenia post deployment of the national energy system, Tim wanted to understand how this could be adjusted and re-deployed in a larger country / regional context. He is especially interested in working on scale problems as his career matures!

Inspired by his hero Leonardo Da Vinci, Tim is always seeking to explore new fields and interests, ultimately with the goal of connecting them back to his overarching mission of serving those in the most need. In addition to his Product work, he has a background working in Environmental Engineering, Astrophysics, Marine Biology, and Education. He is a member of The Explorers Club, Oxford Net Zero, Haas Center for Public Service, and The Society for International Development.
